Artsplosure
Artplosure is one of North Carolina’s most celebrated and well-attended outdoor arts festivals. Artsplosure features more than 250 visual and performing artists and attracts over 70,000 people to Moore Square Park every year. A weekend-long celebration, Artsplosure is open to the public and is scheduled during the third weekend of May.
Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival
The Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival has become one of the most prestigious festivals in the South for over 30 years. Drawing over 60,000 people annually, the Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival showcases the best in arts, crafts, food and entertainment of Cary.
Great Grapes Wine
The Great Grapes Wine is an annual event which features more than 200 wines, 20 wineries, scrumptious foods, and exquisite arts and crafts, plus great live music. Spend time with your husband or wife and enjoy wine tasting, wine pairing and cooking demonstrations. The festival venue also has a Kids’ Activity Area where children can enjoy the moon bounce and crafts.
World Beer Festival
Raleigh annually plays host to The World Beer Festival which features over 150 breweries, showcasing over 400 different beers from all over the globe. The event draws over 8,000 visitors to historic and quaint Moore Square, where they get to enjoy great beers, food and live entertainment.
International Festival
Held every October, the International Festival showcases musical, culinary and artistic offerings from around the globe. Watch traditional ethnic dances from different countries on the Main Stage, sample various culinary offerings from all over the world at the Sidewalk Cafes, learn about the cultures and traditions of different countries through the exhibits and the Demonstration Displays, and enjoy live performances from around the world at the Biergarten Stage. Even kids will find plenty of things to do - Sophie’s Corner offers face-painting, storytelling and games.
